Note : PL36 is the equivalent of 6CM5/EL36, albeit with 25V / 300mA filament requirement.
Octal Beam Power Tube
There aren’t many people having used the 6CM5 / EL36 for audio circuits, but it doesn’t mean I will leave those 40 PL36 resting in their box for too long, despite their unusal filament voltage/current.
I got them from an online auction on ricardo.ch. The box had seals from the swiss army. I wonder in what equipments they have been used and how many owners saw them passing by. In any case, their new assignment will be music, not weapons.
